KINGSTON, N.H., Sept. 2, 2010 The Sanborn Regional School District (SAU #17) has launched a redesigned website by New Hampshire web design and marketing firm Danconia Media that will act as an informational hub for parents, students and area residents.
The site located at www.sau17.org was built using a remarkably robust, yet user-friendly, content management system (CMS) that the school district’s staffers can use to keep it updated in-house rather than relying on an outside agency to do so. And since the CMS platform is open-source, Sanborn will not be tied down to just one development firm.
“Parents, teachers and students alike all need access to information quickly and easily these days more than ever,” Jon Simoni, a Danconia Media project manager, said. “We were happy to provide a tool that efficiently catered to all those needs for the district.”
Using the site, visitors can learn about the school district’s schools, programs, administration, departments, job openings and obtain contact information. The site also features embedded videos, latest news, calendars, school registration information and links to the district’s Facebook page and Moodle, among many other things.
The Sanborn Regional School District consists of educational facilities in the New Hampshire towns of Kingston and Newton, including Sanborn Regional High School, Sanborn Regional Middle School, Memorial School and Daniel J. Bakie School. The high school serves the communities of Kingston, Newton and Fremont.
