This holiday season, Danconia Media is giving back by donating a free website to one nonprofit or charity organization whose goal is to help children. We are giving away a web development package that would normally sell for tens of thousands of dollars to help a deserving organization better promote its cause. As part of the package, the chosen organization will receive:
- A professionally designed website with up to 50 pages of content provided by the organization.
- Access to an easy-to-use content management system (CMS) that staffers and volunteers can use to add, modify and remove content.
- Integration of a program that manages donations, volunteers and events from a single interface.
- The ability to accept donations and sign up volunteers directly from the website.
- Integration with social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr.
- Free hosting and domain registration (if required).
Since every organization’s needs differ, we will develop a truly custom solution that will ensure the organization will be better equipped to make a lasting impact. There is absolutely no catch to this. We’ve previously donated websites to the Salem Animal Rescue League, Community Services Council of New Hampshire and Strafford Nutrition Meals on Wheels. We’re currently designing a website for the New Hampshire American Legion Riders, which we donated in recognition of Veteran’s Day 2010.
We will accept entries up until Christmas Day and expect to announce who we choose the following week. The new site could be launched early in 2011; the speed of the process hinges on the organization. The donation is open to any organization that helps children in the United States. For-profit organizations will not be considered.
To be considered, email info@danconia.com and put “Danconia Website Donation” as the subject. Please include basic information about your organization (size, area served, current website) and why it needs a new website. For more information, call (603) 217-5583.
