KEENE, N.H., Jan. 11, 2012 – Residential Resources Incorporated (RRI), an organization that provides life-enhancing support for people with developmental and acquired disabilities, has launched a completely redesigned website by leading web design firm Danconia Media.
The website – located at www.resresources.com – has several advanced features, including a job listings database and an events manager, both of which are easy to administrate in-house. Using the site, visitors can learn about the organization’s services, history, leadership, participants, providers and latest news, among other things.
Danconia Media’s web design team engineered the site using a highly robust, yet user-friendly, content management system (CMS). The technology empowers RRI to maintain its web presence internally rather than relying on a third-party agency for updates, minimizing the site’s total cost of ownership.
Since the CMS is open-source, it lacks the costly licensing and maintenance fees that proprietary solutions carry. At the same time, the platform has the same functionality, scalability and reliability as the most commercial systems, whose licensing fees often run into the tens of thousands of dollars.
Established in 1988, RRI supports more than 200 disabled people throughout New Hampshire, Maine and New York. The organization helps clients with Prader-Willi Syndrome, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Huntington’s disease, traumatic brain injuries, autism and other disabilities. RRI employs more than 450 direct support professionals, program managers, supervisors, regional directors, registered nurses and other staffers.
