Edgewater Beach Resort, which is located in the heart of Cape Cod, needed a clean, aesthetically pleasing website that it could use as a marketing tool. The site – located at www.edgewaterresorthoa.org – also features a password-protected backend, where the resort’s stakeholders can access an online bill pay system as well as meeting minutes and financial information from the organization’s board and general manager.

We built the site using a highly robust, yet user-friendly, content management system (CMS), which empowers Edgewater’s staffers to add, delete and edit content in-house rather than relying on a third-party agency for updates. The CMS platform is open-source, so it’s free of the exorbitant licensing and maintenance fees that proprietary systems carry.

Edgewater, which features more than 400 feet of private beach, is open year-round. The resort has 76 units – studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom – that are outfitted with fireplaces and efficiency kitchens. The resort has indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, a seven-hole putting green and WiFi. Edgewater belongs to Vacation Resorts International.
