CONCORD, N.H., June 4, 2012 – Intown Concord, an organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing living in New Hampshire’s capital city, this week launched a completely overhauled website engineered by leading New England web design and marketing firm Danconia Media.
The site – located at www.intownconcord.org – features information about upcoming Concord events, local businesses, restaurants, ways to support the organization’s cause, business resources and available properties. It serves as a hub for all things downtown Concord.
“Intown Concord’s brand new website allows for local businesses to leverage substantial web traffic for advertising,” the organization said in its email announcing the site launch. “A single web sponsor advertising block is available monthly for purchase by Intown Concord business members, and appears prominently on all pages of Intown Concord’s website.”
Danconia Media’s web design team equipped the site with a remarkably user-friendly content management system (CMS) that Intown Concord’s leaders can use to add, remove and modify its content. As part of its web design package, Danconia implemented a robust business directory system, which can also be easily maintained by Intown in-house.
The chosen CMS is open-source and free to use. At the same time, the platform has superior functionality, scalability and reliability over proprietary systems that can cost tens of thousands of dollars yearly in licensing alone.
The organization was formerly known as Main Street Concord. Members receive e-newsletters, discounts to local events and promotional opportunities.
