CONCORD, N.H., Feb. 3, 2009 � Danconia Media has signed on as a lead sponsor for the 18th annual Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase, an event that gives businesses in the capital region the opportunity to market themselves to others.

The trade show will be held April 7 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Grappone Conference Center located at 70 Constitution Ave. The Chamber expects 100 businesses to have exhibits at the function and for more than 500 people to attend in total.

In September 2008, Danconia Media took it upon itself to set up a resource for anyone interested in helping Grand Turk Island return to normalcy in the wake of Hurricane Ike. The hurricane heavily battered the island, damaging more than 80% of its homes and leaving nearly 1,000 people homeless. Because of the urgency of the situation, the site �located at www.grandturkhurricanerelief.org � was constructed in less than a day. The site started ranking well practically overnight, leading to numerous donations of goods and clothing for islanders as well as inquiries from people interested in traveling to Grand Turk to provide direct assistance.
