Intown Concord, an organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing living in New Hampshire’s capital city, called on Danconia Media to completely overhaul its web presence to act as a hub for all things downtown Concord.

The site – located at www.intownconcord.org – features information about upcoming Concord events, local businesses, restaurants, ways to support the organization’s cause, business resources and available properties. We designed the site using Joomla, a remarkably user-friendly, scalable and robust content management platform.

As part of our services, we offered Joomla training to Intown Concord’s leadership. Its volunteers can now use the CMS to add, remove and modify its content in-house rather than relying on a third-party agency for updates. Joomla, which is open-source and free to use, boasts better functionality than proprietary solutions that can cost tens of thousands of dollars annually in licensing alone.

The organization was formerly known as Main Street Concord. Members receive e-newsletters, discounts to local events and promotional opportunities.
