TBM Hardwoods, Inc., one of the largest lumber distributors in the U.S., required a completely redesigned website to showcase its array of high-end hardwoods. Our web team developed TBM a clean, visually stunning website that’s easy for anyone to navigate. We also provided professional on-site photography services.

The site – located www.tbmhardwoods.com – showcases TBM’s domestic and imported hardwoods as well as its millwork services. Visitors can request pricing directly from the website. Promotions and specials will be updated regularly. We engineered the site for scalability, so it can easily be built out as TBM’s business grows.

We designed the website using a remarkably user-friendly, yet robust, content management system (CMS) that TBM can now use to build it out in-house rather than relying on a third-party agency for updates. Since the CMS is open-source, it is free of the exorbitant licensing and maintenance fees that proprietary systems carry.

As part of the development package, we sent a professional photographer down to TBM’s Pennsylvania headquarters. The photographer, Concord, NH-based Max Bittle, took shots of TBM’s warehouse, its operations, its hardwoods and environmental portraits of its staff. He also photographed products from our in-house studio.

Founded in 1955 as the T. Baird McIlvain Company, TBM has grown from having a rented lumber shed and one truck to a distribution yard with more than 7 million board feet stocked. TBM serves companies throughout the eastern United States.
